Coir is coconut husk fibre, and it is stiff enough to scrape mud off a boot in a way no synthetic mat manages. The design is dyed into the bristles rather than printed on top, so it wears down with the mat instead of wearing off it.

One thing to know before ordering: coir is a natural fibre and does not love standing water. It belongs under a porch or a canopy. For a fully exposed entrance choose our rubber-backed or outdoor scraper mats instead.
